I've got a soft spot for Derry by the way and think that what he lacks/lacked tactically and aesthetically he made up for in team spirit and love for the club.
Derry has spoken about his time at Notts since and made it pretty clear that his biggest frustration was with the amount of interference in who he could have or couldn't have in his squad. I'd be surprised if he was a genuine contender, but if they become desperate, nobody can be ruled out.

Can't see why it is such a big thing that he has chosen not to come.

He needed to look at the whole picture. Travelling, family, work-life balance, wanting to carry on the work he has started etc.

I am glad though that we are looking to people already in jobs, rather than only those looking for their next job because they are out of work.

If I thought asking someone not to quote my posts or post about me would actually work I would have asked a few select posters a long long time ago .

In terms of season ticket renewals, don't forget Notts still have the magic card that all clubs have up their sleeve and that is:

What else are you going to do on Saturday afternoon? A trip to IKEA? A spot of fishing in the canal near the ground?

I guess these sort of comments and statements are made at this time of the season at many many clubs that didn't achieve their aim last season.

Can the moderator for once grow a pair of balls and stop this constant baiting please... another thread ruined.

    What a wet weekend.

If you weren't so thin skinned you would realise that the thread isn't "ruined" bar your tangent everyone else is talking about Alty's club statement, our search for a manager and now whether the owners have or haven't the financial clout. Please join in.

Here's a radical thought. Seeing as Kels has asked you not to quote his posts, on more than one ocassion, why not just do as he asks? Pretty left field thinking I know.

You mean you want a week off keldsyke?

Baiting, including baiting your supposedly temporary stand-in moderator, is not exclusive to any single poster on here. I'd suggest growing a pair of balls might be something many a thin-skinned poster might try.

Not at all, unfortunately you go missing at times when things should be sorted but I guess as a member of the 'non attending I think I know what is happening at the ground club' you need your side kick, but I guess that is to be expected. I'd suggest growing a pair of balls might be something many a thin-skinned moderater might try. :-), or just let the board go into decline even more :-), your choice :-)

You are correct, it is totally my choice. Enjoy your break.
