I haven't been particularly interested in the thread myself but saw the news and thought those who had been might be interested by the update. I saw some wondered where he would go next etc.

Just because you don't care and neither do I, some may find it interesting. Would you like me to go on threads you have commented on and say who cares? Doubt it. If you aren't interested then don't look. Nobody forced you.
