Fair enough, I didn’t see any pre-season games….and I can only remember one good cross he’s ever made, the beauty against Solihull. But he scares me.
He scares me every time he’s on the ball and checks inside or backwards. He scares me every time he passes the ball but worst of all he infuriates me every time he gets the ball and instead of using his fabled pace or strength to push the ball past a defender and put a cross in he cuts inside, even when on his favoured side, and passes the ball into a congested area or back to the goalkeeper…..once you see it you can’t un-see it.
When I heard early reports of him last season I was excited to see him play, then came to the conclusion that I must be watching a different player. He looks like he should be a good wing back…just like Mitchell looks like he should be a good striker, they may well be in the league below ours but I’ll be surprised if either are still here next season.
Is he a better wing back than Chicksen? Both are poor in that position, but I’d say no. Chicksen is the better defender, more intelligent, and gets into the exact same positions that Taylor does (before turning back 😂. Having decent (proper) wing backs would make such a huge difference to our system. Turning the opposition defence and allowing our midfield players to get into the box to support Langstaff would be priceless.
I don’t know if anyone else noticed but the only player on our team in the opposition box for our two goals on Saturday was the guy who scored them both. Yes, that’s great of course, but that’s not always going to be the case and we will struggle for goals this year if we don’t get more players in the box when we’re attacking.

But it was you who put your mark on it...As always.
I think you've hit a new low point here laddo. You might "laugh out loud" at a cherry picked comment from a Notts fan who attends every game, but I'm pretty sure the majority on here will see it as beyond pathetic.
If I've got it wrong, you're #mission has succeeded.
In that case, RIP NCM.
Thanks for inserting yourself into proceedings once again EP, I think you might be a tad obsessed.
Whether you think that or not isn't really a big deal, sorry to break that to you buddy. Plus It's not a cherry picked comment it rubs shoulders with other classics such as:
I only started supporting Notts at the time of the trust?!
1959Magpie has never seen a successful Notts side/season?!
MarcusCole doesn't go to games?!
These are just crazy statements, wild guesswork from 'Mr Sunshine and Light'
I wonder if Durham , who attends every game btw, has any more doozies about anybody else on here?
As for the rest of your post , and ignoring the obvious grammatical error. You are once again mentioning the #mission (which you previously admitted you didn't know what it was), you've mentioned it more than me in recent months. Why? Has a simple one word hashtag got under your skin that much? Surely not, not at your age
And finally why are you "RIP NCM?" Please don't be calling anyone a drama queen any time soon after that sign off.
Now your post and my post aren't related to the Halifax game so please can you and Durham who instigated this please respond on the designated handbags thread (you know the one, you used to post in there so so frequently) and we can continue the conversation there.
In fact all these sort of posts can be confined to that one thread and it will make a lot of people very happy.
Thanks in advance.
Who cares apart from you? We all make comments which are proved incorrect with hindsight, but who incessantly cherry picks them apart from you? The answer is nobody. As an example, Big Bob once said in frustration and anger that we wouldn't make the playoffs last year, and with hindsight the league table proved him wrong. So what? I'm sure everyone else didn't give it a second thought but you repeat it on a monthly basis. I don't know what sort of kick you get from highlighting posts like these, but it's seriously weird.
So if you realise your post isn't related to this thread, why didn't you take it to the appropriate place rather than instructing others to?
This is one for Swale. Instead of his usual "please can you take this elsewhere" response, he has to decide whether (although it doesn't directly break any stipulated rules), is repeatedly mocking, belittling and ridiculing fellow Notts fans in the best interests of the board?
If he decides it is, I would ask him to give me a permanent ban.
You keep getting off listening to the radio chap. What a sad miserable life you have, not being able to go to any games, is it her in doors that dictates whether you can or cant. So to appease your frustration you seek enjoyment by criticising those that do. Furthermore, dont give me excuses that you live down south and cant get to any home games, i have friends who travel up from St Albans every home match.
But on the other hand, I'm glad you listen to the radio as we dont need your scum at our ground..
