He was poor for us and has done well for them just like Michael Smith was poor for Bury and did well for us. Football is like that sometimes.
Yep. I had no strong view on Yates but on the whole really couldn't see him scoring for us, in much the same way I can't see Eaves scoring for us, as much as we willed them to. My only memory of folk on here was a prolonged 'get rid'

    Yes, very true

Some coaches can improve the technical skills of players, others can teach them how to run

Agree good sides let ball do the work. All about work rate here 2 games a week we can't maintain that work rate.

Unfortunately we haven't got the players who can pass the ball accurately and retain possession consistently and a few of them need two touches just to control it.
The only way we will survive in this league is with high energy performances but I'm not sure that is going to be MT's style so I don't know where we go from here.

    Roughly translated.
I don’t know if the budget was wasted. Just thought I would say it cause I like Warne.

Why did we agree to make this run worse by agreeing to play Sheff utd aswell? Surely there's plenty of other dates to play them?

I don't think its as easy as that.I think there is a rule where you have to complete the fixture at the first reasonable date available to both clubs. It's a great point you make because from our point of view with regards to the World Cup break and all the fixtures around this period we would be far better off sticking this game in in say,March!

Anybody else notice the number of times Wiles’ head dropped when he lost the ball. Also why didn’t Washington just hit it on that break like Bramall did last week. 1-0 up could have been such a difference at half-time.
