I'd like to see us keep Castro as well. On the whole he's been decent.

I wasn't referring to just the new signing, far from it, more the fact earlier in the season the squad was called threadbare and the like (probably after Chesterfield draw or Coalville defeat). This thread and posts like Jackals above seriously say otherwise. We have good options and solid players on the bench in multiple position across the backline and midfield.

His club record and sheer numbers is a natural concern but make sure you give him a chance Durham

If he performs as we know he can, then i will give him my full support. But, to get in the side he has a lot to do to earn his place.

Very much so, and that shows just how well we are doing and illustrates that this squad isn't thin.

I just hope he is not a replacement for Palmer, who is the best midfielder in the league.

Unless he proves to be better. Suspect Ruben is more likely to go.

Williams has stated that it is a big plus with him being left footed, so doubt he will be a replacement for Palmer. Bostock himself has also said in interviews that he realise it is a squad game, so doubt he will throw a mardy if not selected every week. I was also impressed with Bostock's physique, for a thirty year old six footer, he looks in remarkably good shape.

I am quite optimistic about John Bostock.
However, I was the same about David Vaughn and Harry Arter.
The common thread of course is that they were all at or with Florest immediately before their arrival.
This time it will be different - I think - I hope.

    Me too.
There's a significant age difference. And an even bigger mood/motivation difference, if the interviews are anything to go on.
