Just watched the highlights. Stewart FFS, but how the **** the BITB concluded after using VAR that the foul was in the box would be risible were the consequences not so serious.

MacKenzie for the third goal, though. 😡 Dinna ****in balloon-heid it into the air when a boy’s fleein at you with momentum, min. Primary school stuff.

Duncan should really have buried that chance he had.

    Get it sorted oot, FFS.

During the World Cup there was mention of last man red cards might not apply if the foul resulted in a penalty.

I think it's something to do with the seriousness of the foul play?

I can't be bothered researching this as anything to do with football authorities threatens my blood pressure, but it appears we may have been hard done by.

Cormack could gain some much needed respect by calling out the SFA on this and paying the resultant fine himself but.....

My understanding is that it has to do with whether the defender makes an attempt to play the ball or not.

I think it’s the double indemnity (AKA ‘double dunter’ in Keith) thing where the foul (unless for violent contact like therapist kicking out at Lewis Ferguson a couple of seasons back, the rapey ****) and the concomitant award of the penalty, plus a yellow card is regarded as sufficient.

    Poovery.

How on earth can anyone ascertain that with Stewart?

I think it may be where the goalkeeper is the last defender.
