He isn't "soft" he's DAMAGED FFS, and so would you be if you had had to perform is similar circumstances.

And Firpo, Sinisterra, LLorente, all of whom have had extended periods injured (even in Sinisterras case), haven't made anything like the contribution to the club that Bamford has, and yet do they get similar treatment, or is it just that it would require a bit more thought to come up with a "funny" nickname?
Not forgetting Forshaw who must be approaching a world record for the amount of time out injured whilst still being paid a (relative) fortune.

Need to give Rutter time - new to the league and couldn’t get to the pace of the game. Nam fluff is like the phrase bumfluff that was always used when I grew up to denote the soft hairs on your top lip before you started shaving properly.

In days like today seems and apt description. Whilst he seems injury free not fully match fit.

Adams and McKennie together look really good. Wonder then Perkins might get time in the middle of the three behind the ST.

I so want Harrison to be good but he sonofteb freezes and then the chance is gone.

Ironic, the most expensive transfer in Leeds Utds history and we have to give him time...

Not having a go at you Hopey, more the strategic thinking behind this transfer!

I hear ya - injury to Rodger’s didn’t help I guess. Ings for less than half the money might have been a good investment.

I think the strategy and strategic thinking for the whole season seems a little confused at the moment.

See we are being linked with an Ajax reject as manager now.

Next couple of games are huge and we have one more point than I expected but a little disappointed we don’t have more out of those two games.

Best we have looked in a long time. Agree we deserved more but they are the hottest team in the prem right now and a huge bogey team for us. The used up a lot to get the points they did

Not a stretch to say the next game is the most important game of the season. They are one of 4 teams that could finish bottom 3 besides us. Bournemouth,Southhampton, west ham being the others

Might not be a popular opinion, but it seemed to me as if we did a lot of huffing and puffing only to see their “B” team effectively bide their time and simply pick us off at the end. Not complaining about our effort or industry, it was just a case of them having a plan that would be enough to get past us and on to their European exploits this coming week.

I really like Shaw as a full back (I’m not so blinkered by the Man U thing that I can’t see genuine quality), but Maguire has not seen much first team action of late, so they would not have been anywhere close to their first choice central pairing in a back four.

We should’ve pulled them all over the place.

I do see some promise in the Adams and McKennie partnership, but some midfield guile is also necessary to supplement their steel?

    Just saying what I see.

Fair comment Orgs - do think we lack someone who can play in the hole where Harrison was - he did some decent things but composure and guile are not words you would use to describe him today.

I know some on here are not convinced but today would have been a good game for Sinisterra:

Genuinely wonder if Gnonto could do that role, he's strong, fast, can pick a pass, takes players on and knows how to shoot. Would playing him more central make him more of a threat?
