Chieo in front of him on the right. PK on the right of midfield like to see.

I watched the players warming up before the Preston game and there was a session where Chieo was supposed to be putting crosses into the box for the strikers.
He was unchallenged for this exercise (ie no defenders) and he was hopeless!
If he could cross a ball he wouldn't be playing for us - he would have left a long while ago.
Ferguson has the best left foot cross.

At least we agree on Coventry & Odoffin in midfield. -
Tom Eaves will be on the bench.

If the judgement is based on ability to cross the ball then neither is Ogbene

It always amuses me when people trot this out about Chieo. He's a professional footballer who supposedly prefers to play out wide but, even after all these years with us, he is still incapable of crossing the ball.
Apart from the fact that he used to be quick I'm honestly struggling to see what his strengths are.

I never said he could cross a ball - he doesn't play as a winger for the Republic - does he class himself as a winger?
Top scorer this season - without the goals he's scored (Swansea home - QPR away - Swansea away & the opening goal that sent us on the way to a 3-0 win against Blackpool home - apart from that he can't cross a ball - that's the downside to his game.

He's our main threat. Know his final ball? But Chieo I'm a fan.

His decision making is 50 /50.
Swansea away he decided to push forward into the Swansea area & was rewarded with the equaliser on the night.
There's usually 2 players marking him & this season he's been up against some decent full backs that have made it difficult for him.

He looks to have lost a yard of pace since that long term injury he had.
Do I reckon he's the best wide right player we've ever had?? - certainly not.

It's not too long ago when Matt Taylor played him as a striker some on social media said " he wasn't a striker"
So if he isn't a winger & isn't a striker what is he?
    Overrated perhaps or versatile player.
Not too bothered if he walks away at the end of the season - ( the decisions his)
