Best team on the night won last night - looked like they wanted it more & two quick mobile physical players up front - helped along the way by poor defending.

Don't be surprised if we actually win against Middlesbrough or at least take a point on Monday.
All still to play for - bring it on.

Only problem with that side is corners free kick taker. Bramall ok from our left?

Yes MT was to blame but I don’t think he went five at the back
You obviously don't see what happens before kick off.
Wayne Carlisle warmed them up as a back 5 so that was definitely how we intended to start. It's not the first time MT has gone for such a negative line up, it didn't work before and it didn't work again last night.
I lost count of how many times two of our players went to head the same ball and it fell to an opponent. No-one seemed to be clear what their job was and it was shambolic at times.
I've said before that the jury is still out about MT but his ridiculous subsitutions and post-match comments last night won't have done him any favours.

This pretty much sums up what I was going to say. At this stage of the season, the quality players who may have not had great seasons tend to step up and show their quality where it matters. I think in terms of thought and technical skill we are in the bottom 3 all day, but we have played with heart and consistent graft to get where we are, and where I would have been happy with at the start of the season, in with a good shout still. But we don't really have the incisive quality that steps up when it really matters and that could make the difference. Hope that Boro have an off day, their minds elsewhere and that Wigan are down or freeze on the day. Several permutations still in our favour.

Regarding the two managers, I loved Warne but even in the position he was in when he left, I thought we'd still end up where we are now if he was still with us. And that was before losing Barlaser! Get behind Taylor and if worst comes to worst, see what he can do in the first half of next season in the fun league. Quite fancy another Wembley trip anyway. Well overdue...

That formation against Boro would be a huge mistake, they play two FBs very high up and once past our WBs it is a cross into the box everytime, we have to play 4-5-1 for the boro game with the 2 wide players making it a 3 in attack. Coventry is likely to be out so central 3 is Lindsay, Odoffin, Rathbone
    But we will see

I love how Bamba gets a yellow card (probably something he said) but Lamouchi didn’t for deliberately blocking Harding, how is that not interfering with play?

First of all the opposition,1 decent centre half,a couple of decent forwards......er that`s it,they were on the same points as us for a reason.
As others have said,Woody and Peltier in the same defence seems like a bad idea,Wes was good at times, sometimes awful, why the hell won`t Bramhall get forward more ?
Coventry had his best game for us,Ollie is obviously not fit, same could be said for Hugill,or maybe he`s crap,Chieo was easliy the MOTM,he must feel like he`s playing on his own most games,he really was the only chance, other than a corner of scoring,it was crying out for something to spark us,which you could argue was Fosu or Quina, but probably not both.
We all know Georgie isn`t the finished article, but for Christ`s sake get him up front with Hugill on Monday,WE NEED SOME EFFING POINTS.
This league is nowhere as strong as it usually is,if we don`t survive this time then we never will,it`s still in our hands,I`m sure Wigan,Blackpool and Reading would like swop places with us,but honestly we shouldn`t be struggling this bad this time.
