Unfortunately he (like all of us of his age group) would know that he would have been given a thick ear so he would have kept silent. These are secret problems and when it’s out in the open it’s like a bomb has gone off in your life. No longer safe just terrified of how the public will lay into you. It should be easy to talk about but unfortunately especially in Britain it’s something families of our generation in particular never talked about.
My understanding is that this old case I mentioned involved a lad Boingy.

I agree with you about things being suppressed but our particular age demographic but there’s a bigger point I’d make here my friend……there is a particular attraction to an age group where the line between legally acceptable and totally unacceptable becomes at best, wafer thin.

Whatever one’s demons might be when it comes to s e x u a l matters there’s a line that cannot be crossed.

I think you’ll agree on that?

It’s a complex one for our generation, when I was a lad older blokes with young girls on their arms were always admired as a bit of a player, good on em etc etc, look at Robert Plant and his tour wives, in reality they were in the wrong, if my daughter ended up on the arm of a middle aged bloke all hell would break lose. However if my son met an older woman would I feel the same?

Suppose it depends on how fit she was as to whether you'd actually want to shag her or not 😉 .

That’s why you still have to face justice. Stafford prison is a good watch on you tube. It has a high success rate with *** offenders. The therapy there is very good, unfortunately you have to go to jail to get that level of help. To pay privately you would be bankrupt in a few months. The more knowledge and understanding that is needed means the more you pay. Ironically the most vulnerable groups (poorer areas) can’t ever access the help. Even rich people though have to face the shame connected with their behaviours and it is often too much to contemplate.

I was reluctant to return to this thread, however, this is something I thought was perhaps relevant given Mr Edwards current situation regarding his mental health. The link below is from the Daily Express, (I know, I know) but it does indicate he admitted he was suffering from mental health some year’s previous to now.

The article is a couple of days old, so I apologies in advance if you have seen it previously.
