Whatever he means by it, isn't good for his explanation. Basically he said that in structured games (SG) we do well and can get results, in Unstructured games (UG) we cannot. So this states that we only prepare and have the players that can play in SG and our tactics, coaching and players fail in UG. So the obvious questions are
1. What are you doing about preparing for UG
2. Isn't it easy for teams to say hey Rotherham can't play UG lets do that
3. What % of games are UG games to SG, if there were only 10% of UG games, perhaps it isn't a problem
