Weel, nae a great game, terrible conditions ... as if an artificial pitch is nae bad enough, but interestin' tae see a real bit o' squad rotation.

For me, MacDonald has surely made a claim for mair first team action. Much as Ah can appreciate Rubezic's general improvement, he's still somethin' o' a liability. If we're gonna be stickin wi a back three, Ah'd much rather hae MacDonald in the middle wi Gartenmann and Jensen either side.

Milne, Duncan and Polvara did enough tae suggest there's good cover in the squad .... reassurin' given that Jonny Hayes is lookin pretty ordinary these days.

Gueye? hmmm .... a couple o' nice moves, but generally wisna his day .... be good tae see him get mair game time on a decent surface tho.

I can see why Robson hasn’t been playing Gueye after tonight’s showing.Whoever recommended him to us needs shot.

Once Sokler came on we played much better attacking wise.He deserves a decent run in the team and I’m sure the goals will come.

MacDonald looking much more like the player he was last season and some goal from him to get us back in the game.

Milne looks like he could end up being a good player for us as well.

Duncan needs a game in his best position, so far no sign of which position that is. Milne looked more comfortable in 1st team than Duncan. Polvara needs to get out of cruise control and contribute more. Maybe MacDonald should get a run as he is far better than Gartenmann in the air, where is where we could have lost a heap of goals in the 2 Hun matches.

If I had my way, I would hae 4 at the back in a 4-4-2 ... MacDonald an' Gartenmann as centres Devlin an' Jensen as full backs supportin' a winger either side (at this moment Duncan and McGarry) o' 2 central mids (Shinnie and McGrath) and have Sokler and Miovski up front.

But, great tae have such great options in McKenzie, Milne, Rubezic, Polvara, Hayes, Barron, Clarkson, Duk, to step in as subs/injury/rotation.

My opinion, nae gonna argue wi anybody fa disagrees ...

... Elephant in the room though ... wtf has gone wrong wi Besuijen??

Be surprised if he is still with us after January.

Can certainly play, but clearly something happened that means nowhere near the team.

A pity a move back to Holland never happened in the summer. Would have been best for him and club.

Totally agree, worse than a moan short and hope to fk we dont see him in the starting 11 again any time soon, or even on the bench for that matter utter useless.

Totally agree. We look far better with 4 at the back and McDonald should be first pick. He is far better than Ruby in the air and on the ground. He saved a certain goal last night ( later ruled offside) which Ruby would never have got to. He was one of our best players towards the end of last season but has hardly featured in recent months. Sokler looked good last night as well and should be given a run alongside Miovski. I thought Milne played well too and would like to see him given a run at centre back alongside McDonald. Barry has to get our best eleven on the pitch playing in a formation that suits them best. Then we would see how good the team are.

Hmm. Given that the Ref stopped the game for the snowballs and got the Aberdeen Captain to go plead for calm with the Support, it`s bound to be in his match report ? UEFA fine incoming ???

( I heard that later on , McDonald went down injured , and the HJK Fan got their own back by pelting him with snowballs too . ? Didn`t notice that.

I`d say it was all done in good fun . Right after the Tannoy had played Jingle Bells too !!

Why ,it`s almost an Aberdeen traditon !!!

Wish the Squad had thrown a few at the Supporters at the end of the game . Just to prove it`s all a bit of fun ......

Great trip. Just home. That was cold on a new level towards the end of the game.
