Away from home we limited them to one goal, got them frustrated and then made some astute substitutions with 25 minutes to go.
After then we got one back by pressing them into errors and then matched them and could have won it. We actually scored in injury time but we got caught offside just inside their half which was silly.

So for a Third of the game at the business end we were good and took the game to them but I didn’t see that yesterday . We hardly laid a glove on them and we were at home too.

Don’t think it’s as simple as shrugging the shoulders and saying the opposition were better so we had no chance
They were a different team then, they were still getting momentum not on a 22 game unbeaten run, it could have been 6 by half-time in that game as well. However I do see the point about not being more attacking minded at home. Away from home we should play it tight, pack midfield and counter attack, in Nombe we have one of the fastest players in the league, yet we play Hugill, who is getting worse. At home just playing two up front won’t make a difference we need to find a system that enables us to get the ball wide higher up the pitch, perhaps a 343 approach but that would require a fit Humphrey’s in the back 3. We should be more aggressive at home, but you lay the foundations by tightening up at the back and build from there, that is what LR is trying to do. No idea why we wasted a loan on a wide right defender, Kioso easily fills that role, unless there are still issues between him and the club, but watching him yesterday he seems up for it. Success for me now is finishing above Wednesday at least that would be something

Beaten by a better side yesterday, no disgrace in that. They will be back in premier league next season.
Can see what Richardson is trying to do. We’re not getting hammered and overrun. He’s stopped that. Preparing for league one next year.
There’s also still the chance of a miracle and we stop up.
Some talk of fans not going next year. I’ve been going for 55 years, guess what I will be doing in year 56.
    Keep the faith. UTM

4-4-2 that's suicide even in league 1. Peltier Lindsay Cafu Hugill drop. Only play Revan more forward never in defence. Wyke he'd be lone forward for me.

Somebody commented yesterday that Kioso looked to be our fittest player.
We certainly had a few regulars running out of steam while he was getting forward whenever he got the chance.

LR was presumably brought in to give us a chance of staying up, which would require us to actually win some matches. He waved the white flag with his team selection yesterday. Maybe MT was right when he said that no one else could get any more out of this set of players. But then, we know that LR was at least 3rd choice, so what do we expect.

Derby you don't see crowds reaction by not being there. Near end of 1st half after they had carved us open again should have scored on my row some left I never seen them come back. A few fans were stood up just behind our managers dugout ranting. Under stand at half time was subdued to say the least. Sad being there at this present time.

I will be there next game so i can see for myself. It is different being at a match to watching on TV, but there are pros and cons both ways. i am glad I wasn't at the game because i think i would have been thrown out for all the abuse i was shouting at Hugill here at home, he has to be one of the laziest Cf i have seen for a long time, not in the same class as Smudge was in his final season with us.

We gave them the game before a ball was kicked and that is not only stupid it is disrespectful for the fans and the players alike.

11 behind the ball is a disgrace at home even against the the best teams in the league you still have to try and win the game.

Very very poor from the manager and I am ashamed of that performance

Caught a bit of MOTD last night, saw the Burnley game, even though I don't really like Kompany, there was some great fighting talk there about staying up.
Have we had any of this from Richardson ?
Maybe I missed it,but I want to hear some from the manager, even if he doesn't believe it,I want us to go down fighting please.
