We will finish mid table probably in 15/17th place - no way will we be relegated.

Millwall were top of the Championship after game 21 of the 1995/96 season, relegated in 22nd place.

Closest to that for Notts was Shaun Derry's 2nd season when we were 3rd after 14 games and relegated on the final day.
Thordarsson's team were top after 8 games and only just survived on the final day.

We are not mathematically safe, all of the bottom three could overtake us, especially with the FGR game at the end of the season. It would take some doing to get relegated but if anyone can achieve this, Maynard's the man!

But have faith, like Ardley, he can take us into non-league but have a fair crack of getting us back up. Although we might have to take a loss on the first day away to Tamworth or Chelmsford before things click. Has that made you feel any more positive?
