The trouble is Notts are playing the same way under SM as they were under LW. The only real differences are player moral/respect and some teams have sussed us out.

It's easy to make OK players look poor if you play them in a way that they either don't understand or just doesn't work. Just look at Langstaff - was touted as the next Haaland and now he's struggling to score tap ins. He hasn't suddenly become a bad player.

If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, don't expect a different result.

If the Brothers replace SM and expect the new coach to play the same way, we'll only get more of the same. When Notts have changed the formation a bit, even with lesser players, they have clicked. The squad is good enough in this league, at the very least, but if they are being asked to play Kamikaze football, then what we are witnessing now is the result.

If we take an axe to the squad but leave the Head Coach in place then we'd be well-advised to check out our relegation odds for next season
    100% agree.

We might not need to axe the squad but we do need to do some serious pruning and then plant a few new trees
As it is highly unlikely that Macca and Jodi will be here next season we might be well advised to keep an eye on the relegation odds anyway.

I'm not in the out camp, but I'd give him until the summer to on the off chance something changes. I just think we can't risk relegation next season.

Then get someone with more relevant experience in. I like the look of Scott Lindsey at Crawley or Pete Wild at Barrow. Don't for the cheap option again. We need a leader.

Nothing will change, it is very clear that he doesn't have the passion or the required skills to manage us, or the required coaching badge. We may aswell cut our losses and begin the process of building for next season, with a new man at the helm as soon as poss...

We need a leader who will influence recruitment during the whole of the close season. It's going to be a tester for the Bros.

    I completely agree with that.
