As for Osong he has played one game and scored, how many goals has Holmes or Hungbo scored? The lad comes from a highly rated academy and is very well thought of, he is a young man away from his parent club, such players need to be managed differently to get the best out of them. We have an awful track record of dealing with young loaned players. This is a big issue, when you damage the relationship with these academies and clubs that reduces your options going forward, do you think Arsenal will send us another player after the Norton-Cuffy situation.
Evans job is to win football matches, at the moment we have lost more than we have won, we have 14 points from 12 games that is 54 points over a season which in the last 4 years would have been 17th, 16th, 16th, 17th. Do you think that will be seen as success by TS this season, especially as Evans has told us we will be challenging for promotion? We have seen nothing from Hugill in a season and a quarter that makes him worth a shirt, the fake head/leg injury yesterday was the last straw. Cayton says Osong sits on his own, why? The club captain is sat behind him, why isn't he taking the lad under his arm and getting him to sit with them, why is it the lads fault? Now he might get 3 or 4 games or good run outs and fail, but he deserves the chance and not to be judged on 5 minutes here and 1 minute at Peterborough. I am sorry for sticking up for the lad, but history shows us that the issue with young players is the club and not the players.
Disagree with your comments about damaging relationships with premium league academys... It's a Evans management problem not other rufc managers

We have had plenty of pl clubs send young players to us after Norton ciffy.
Brentford, villa, Sheffield u and wolves. Probably others I've missed. I believe it's Evans style of managing young players is where the problem is. He's not the type of manager to put his arm around a young player and most ****s (not just footballers) need a arm around and a cuddle to give them confidence.

We definitely need a much better goalkeeper. Don't know why Evans bigs up our current duo. Both are erratic flappers who give the jitters to the defenders in front of them, all who lack physicality, especially evident when Raggett is absent. Derby picked up a cracking keeper (6ft 6ins Zetterstrom from Sweden) maybe on Viktor's recommendation. In this league you need a big lad with presence.

Fair point, I agree that Evans has some management style issues

I thought that we did very well yesterday. If our identity is one of keeping the ball like we did then I’m in.
Them scoring so early set the tone. I was particularly impressed by their keeper. 2 fabulous saves and to be honest he covered every other possibility of us scoring. Apart from him we were better.

    I enjoyed watching the match.

A question. With a fit JCH do you think it’d been a different outcome?

Evans' fitness narrative is so inconsistent that we don't know if he's been fully fit yet. There's no reliable benchmark to answer that from.

Evans quote on Hugill "Jordan's also been unlucky not to be starting regularly for us in League One because he's a very good striker."

Clearly us stupid fans are wrong again
