One amusing moment from Saturday was just prior to KO when the Stevenage fans were giving SE some real grief because he jilted them.

He came out of the dug out , applauded them and so they clapped him back

    Top banter

What about their song to him?

''Cheer up Stevie E, oh what can it be,

Being a......fat Scottish Bast*** with a....... s.hit football team''

Took me way back to the days of Peter Reid when he was the Weds Manager

Our retort to them when we scored the 2nd goal....

''He left cos you're s.hit...he left cos you're s.hit....that man Steve Evans he left cos you're s.hit' . Looking down to where he was sat, he was definitely laughing at that one.

Holmes might not be ready if not I'd like to see what McGuckin can do there.
Your deffo watching a different player M8 if you think he can't go past a player and has no pace.
Admittedly he doesn't have the pace of chio but he has far more control at the pace he goes..
If I recall correctly he went past 3 players in the last game . Yes cutting inside though hasn't saka just broke Henry record for goals by cutting inside?

Btw. Check out the highlights I posted. 45 seconds he went on the outside and beat his man. Keeper saves. 1 minute he beats 2 players and draws another 3 from the middle.
I know I get it. Your tugging a chain and smiling I've replied....

I’ve got to agree. I was a bit sceptical when we signed him but he is some player. If we ever get jch fit and firing I think he will score a hat full from his creativity. And yes he is a greedy so and so but I don’t have a problem with that if he’s scoring

I think different I'd much sooner see Holmes on the right or McGuckin.

Should have been a nervy last minute, couldn’t believe they didn’t get a penalty, looked nailed on, had a great view while walking out.
    Still, will take the win.
On hugils goal, yeah deflected over the goalie, might have flown straight in too without the deflection.
On wilks, great finish. He is what he is, frustrating at times but comes up with finishing like that. When I heard we signed him, I thought oh no…I’m happy to be proved wrong, One of the first on the team sheet for me now.
