Do they really need 3 presenters to deal with a couple of highlights packages a week and the occasional FA Cup game? I'm sure those 3 (whoever they are) won't come cheap and there will be no doubt more guest "experts" to augment the costs of putting the show on.

They only need 2 to put on Pointless every day and I suspect that has a bigger audience too.

Reading the details, it isn't planned that all 3 or even 2 will be working together, but will cover MOTD MOTD2 and other associated programmes. Presumably 1 will feature on Sat, 1 on Sunday and the other fill in when required. So no set presenter other than it will be one of these 3. I guess it means they can continue with other work?

Not overly bothered but would not quibble at either of these 3 presenting, I don't share AF's conspiracy theory, but then unlike some on here I don't much consider the "nether world" of such nonsense.

It wasn't rA who mentioned a conspiracy, it was the poster to whose post you replied.

Hang on. What did you say about ‘habits’ the other week, AF? I’ve discredited and disagreed with no one. Simply complimented the three appointees.

I dont mind. I dont regularly watch it anyway but the choices seem decent.

I always enjoyed lineker on the occasions I did watch but all 3 are fine presenters. Bet Joey Barton is spitting feathers mind.

AF has not had the opportunity to make a "clever"/ snarky remark at me for a while RA, so when he does he aims it at the wrong person!! Rather funny really.

On here maybe, but you like another on here tend to parrot what's being said by those with a fragile grasp of reality! Anyway your cognitive powers are slipping I see and given they weren't that good to begin with best watch what you say for fear of making yourself look foolish!

I've researched audience figures - MOTD boasts of 33m viewers in 2024 (about 1m a week, say). Pointless peaked in 2024 at 7m for an episode.
