Between the start of August and the end of December 2023, LW won 10 games at home, picking up 30 out of a possible 39 points, with his last game being a 5-0 battering of Morecambe, in which we played some of the best football I've ever seen at Meadow lane. If it wasn't for our very good home form last season, we would've almost certainly been in a relegation fight.

In the 13 months since then, in which we've actually played matches, SM has won 12 games at home and picked up 42 points out of a possible 96, with nearly every single performance being some of the most insipid stuff I've ever seen at Meadow lane.

I don't even know why it's a question, SM should've been gone months ago, never mind now.

The bros are playing the waiting game, I've got a feeling he'll be gone regardless of promotion or not, why else would the Sacked coaches not be replaced 🤔
We've scraped wins against morecambe tranmere etc, now we can't even beat a team like Cheltenham who were there for the taking , very negative starting Grant and Gordon in wide positions, he's more scared of losing than not winning.

this sounds about right. Our home performances can't have been ignored. They'll have wanted Roberto Gagliardi's input too.

I agree with this. His whole approach to home games seems to prioritise not losing. That leads to the very thing we're trying to avoid. The worst thing about it is that he never seems to learn from experience.

The guy is a complete Loser a Grade A Underachiever with the squad he?s had at his disposal and he?s nothing better than a bottom half National league Coach.

There are too many different factors to pin this season's disappointments on a playing style, which has brought us success.

We don't have enough consistently high-performing players. We've asked about 5 players to carry us. SM hasn't instilled a match-winning mentality and doesn't seem to have one himself.

If the play-offs are a flop, I believe SM will go and Gagliardi and co will have to try to deal with the squad problem as well as finding a replacement for SM.

He'll have his work cut out because 2 of our 6 high-performing players will either leave or become 38.
I don't think it is playing style which has held back Tsaroulla, Grant, Palmer, Gordon, Macari, McDonald, Edwards etc. It's either they're just not good enough, don't have the mentality or SM can't get the best out of them.
Your assuming we are have cemented out play off position already.
Still two games too play I personally believe we will miss out after getting done by Donny at home and failing to win at Harrogate as they?ll just kick us off the park.

Not assuming, but the table is very looking good right?

And if we don't make it? No disaster, we only lose that slender 25% chance and say bye-bye to the Head Coach on Monday, May 5th, press conference at 2:00pm

What doesn't seem to be really factored in is that the Bros will have had to build a completely new team to fight for promotion - a minimum of 3 years seems fair enough for that.

Saying Bass, Platt, Bedeau and Jatta are keepers (plus JJ - the only squad member from NL, and he was only at the very end of that), we're going to have to find another 7 players to play with them

We let one go btw. Balders will have his 2nd promotion in 3 years on his CV as a regular at RCB for Bradford. Would he have been better there this season than Macari, McDonald, Johnson etc. ? You bet. Anyway, that went sour but he was one at the level required, as he's proven this season

In until the season is finished and review from there, regardless of promotion or not.

If we are promoted and Maynard is kept on, he should be properly supported with additions to the backroom staff. I am confident in our recruitment to support Maynard effectively in the summer to build on what we already have.

If Maynard is to go, I personally would not go back in for Williams.
