We beat a team today who spent 2.5 mill in the January window. Given that we were newly promoted. Haven?t paid for a player in 2 years and have cut the wage bill by over half. Credit has to be given where credits due

Well done JG. Now get yourself away on a well deserved holiday. 🖤🧡

I think we can now put to bed the notion JG cant win the big games. Who would have thought at the start of season we would clinch 4th place and have a Goodwin out thread on the same page. Nuts. Should also add if we had beaten Hibs in that game Dalby goal chalked off we would have finished 3rd.

Made them look world class but yeah decent saves. Glad he got his opportunity to contribute though. Brilliant day! Had a few quid on the FA cup goalscorer too so good vibes all round 🥳

It's ended well but don't go glossing over the deficiencies that we obviously have. Shoulda coulda woulda never won f*ck all. Jim has won a big game today and we are all United in celebrating it,but he's also lost a sh*tload of big games and that shouldn't be ignored. Big rebuild needed still but passports required so f*ck it for now!

Hardly pish though was it? it is something recognised by people outwith Utd, I dont think in that post I mentioned there were no songs from elsewhere today, did I chica? generally it comes from behind the goal when Utd are attacking it which you obviously you agree with "for once"

Yes that still irks that robbery from VAR ref McDermid has cost us millions

And the Goodwin out thread title was and is a minter, And that statement isn't that far off a FACT

Criticism and debate is one thing, I've been critical in recent weeks and the general debate on the thread was full of good points, just a minter thread title

A ridiculous suggestion, even if we played Wimbledon 80s 90s football every game and simultaneously got jammy with every point earned, if you finish this much above expectation then you have done enough to not have your job questioned for a wee while, imo

4th though, fkn brilliant, some clubs haven't finished that high in 63 years

I'm just relieved that we finally put that post split hoodoo behind us and its a massive bonus that the Funsters are now fully concentrating on top flight survival rather than coming on here pointing out our deficiencies.

i think the team create the atmosphere. Folk want to shout and sing but no chance if the team is doing backpasses. Show us the intent and rest follows and then its a positive reinforcement loop!
