You can hear the manager's opinions in real time and read views which support your own thoughts from people you have never/will never meet.

The vitriol you see on here isn't, unfortunately, unique to Rotherham. Is it symptomatic of a generation raised on social media? Is the abuse freely given by some more noticeable one here? I think so. Perhaps there's something that contributes to the bitter negativity of some that is specific to Rotherham, but I don't know what it might be, or what gave rise to it.
You complaining about people bitterness and negativity with your contributions on here is up there with the most hypocritical post ever.
You really are a piece of work.
    Unbelievable.

It's certainly not specific to Rotherham , if it came across that way it wasn't intended , in fact the group on here are pretty rounded with their criticism compared to other clubs including my own .

Tbh our midfield is more about possession without the ball than having that barlaser type player who makes things happen when we have the ball. I don't think this side is far off being a decent league one side.
From what we have seen from the players I would have to say. A 4411 or 451 with
    Dawson
    Rafferty Douglas Yules James
    Hall Spence gore Powell Benson
    Nombe
    Would be a good base.
Add a LW and a target man and we're not far off
How do you have "possession without the ball"?
    That's a new one on me 🤔.

Try T Holmes up front with Nombe. Baptist centre mid. Side at Blackpool:

    Dawson

    Rafferty Douglas Jules

    Hall Gore Baptist Powell James

    T Holmes Nombe
So your solution to our current on-field predicament is to play our best defender in midfield and our second most calamitous defender as a striker? And you want to do this experiment away at Blackpool, a relegation rival?

What about Etete in goal? He's a big lad. Ever thought of that one?

Baptist can defend gets forward. Be better than when we played Humphreys there. T Holmes he needs a few games to get the cobwebs off someone to win balls lumped up make things happen up front. Etete doesn't.

Maybe it should read "position" and the poster should have been more careful with his post during this festive season,

Personally, I've got no confidence in Hamshaw keeping us in this division, mainly because I can't see what's going to change. Our performances have been generally poor all season and we're 22 games in. The difference now is that we're getting the results our performances deserve and that's on the manager and his coaching team to fix.

I'm just sick and tired of us sacking managers and basically ripping things up to start again. I've got no appetite for yet another change in philosophy. I'm completely on board with what Hamshaw wants to do which is why it's so disappointing to see things going as they are.

I think the club have made mistakes left right and centre regarding recruitment and I include Woody, Tonge and Burbeary in that. But on the other hand, its hard to be totally critical given that we don't know how much Hamshaw has been backed.

We need a big reshuffle in January but most of all, we need TS to come out and provide some clarity regarding his vision for the club.

How long are you giving him to shake the cobwebs off? He's been back since the end of November.

Quick point on Baptiste. If I was Chris Wilder I'd be giving serious consideration to having him back at the Lane in January, assuming there's a release clause that is. He must be on his radar after conceding 5 at Wrexham.
