    I'm not.

I will change my attitude completely if we sign a good striker and a creative mid, replace Benji if he's away.

We're not a million miles away but we need to see the right additions in the positions where we need them.

I'm positive about the club, but I need faith rewarded. Pretty sure that's how most feel.

I don't agree with the narrative that we appointed Tam because we are broke but questions need answered as to why the club has taken a 180 degree turn from where it was heading a year ago.
Back then we were on the brink of appointing an ex England manager and would have done if he had not changed his mind at the 11th hour.We then attempted to bring in another former EPL manager who at that time was head of performance at the SFA and only a vocal minority of the fans prevented that happening.
The Big Man then went for the safe pair of hands that was Micky Mellon.F knows how he could go from them dizzy heights to former managers of Kelty Hearts and Cowdenbeath but i refuse to accept its anything to do with money.I suspect that his son Adam was constantly in his ear telling him Tam was the best thing since sliced bread on the training pitch, how much all the young players looked up to him and the way he wants to play football would be better suited to DUFC than that on offer under Micky.

To anyone reading this i am not being negative just trying to piece together why after getting us back from oblivion(which he deserves credit for)The Big Man has taken such a massive risk with the future of our club and the Ogren's money.

PS sorry again for going O/T but as Stokie Boy has said before this thread pre season 2021/22 is almost redundant anyway.

Get real. Too much "churn". You'll no doubt deny you predicted it but you have more or less predicted exactly that. I get it that you don't like conflict, I get it that you dont want to think badly about the club.

You constantly contradict posters (albeit politely) who are deeply concerned about the upcoming season.

We're panicking according to some, we're drama queens according to others.

Terry if you and Shedka think we didn't struggle last season you're wrong, we struggled like fcuk. And as to "finished comfortably" as said by Shedka, really need to get a grip on reality.
What I actually said with regard to finishing above the sheep:

"I think this is a possibility."

Not a prediction that it is going to happen but, if you actually read what I've written, more a comment on how having too many changes in one close season can actually be very detrimental to a team.

It seems there are two things here; what I've written and what you assume I've written. Did you even read the post I've written about appointing TC being a huge risk? Hardly blindly backing the club.

When you see it written down like this you can see why someone would jump to the conclusion it is about money. It's interesting you don't think so and, if I'm reading this right, are putting it all down to TA and his (personal?) motives?

This divide between folk who want and think we'll be fine against folk who want us to be fine but don't think we will be reminds me of the the start of the pandemic thread.

Should we be concerned? Is it really going to be as bad as folk say, do the senior 'powers that be' have a plan to improve things? Or are they fumbling about and becoming more and more confused with the information being spat out from the data which they invested so much in?

The masks and vaccines which protected the club last year included Benji, Fuchs, Shanks and Edwards, we should be adding to this with boosters to ensure we stay safe,
    over to you big man

It is a bit like that as we punters don't have the whole story. Like the pandemic, there is not a lot we can do about it aside from hang on for the ride and see where it takes us.

Bit of a double negative there, not surprising tbh as you seem to be a doubly negative kind of guy 😋

Me neither. I think Asghar genuinely believes Tam is the man for the job and Ogren trusts him that much, whilst knowing absolutely hee-haw about anything Scottish football, that he's put his blind faith in Asghar once again. If we were broke we wouldn't be handing out 2 year contract extensions to guys who will probably play less than a seasons worth of games in those 2 years. I would like to add however, not being broke is different to spending our way into oblivion which I'm not convinced we aren't doing, again thanks to Ogrens blind faith in Asghar.

Ogren said at the last meeting Tams appointment was absolutely not financially driven

tbh I am far more concerned about the squad of players than the manager, im still assuming Seigrist leaves and Shankland might which would make the matter even worse. We need signings and if we dont get some decent ones we go down IMHO which i think that would have happened if MM was still here anyway. I honestly dont even think it will be close, i think without good signings we go down by some distance this season
