I could have understood that sort of problem with Rangers, but I don’t believe we have any issues with The Rangers. Except for now having 3 wins out of 3 against them.

id take both them to be fair as Jones would give us more width and Stewart is better than anything we have behind Shankland given hes done it in the prem. My only problem with Stewart is we end of with a squad of boys who can play the 10 role like our 1st season in the championship then play half them out of position

I'm eager to see how Nicky Clark gets on in the big league and am not fussed at all about a couple of sevco rejects. We also have Cammy Smith who appears to be getting a chance under Micky plus Declan Glass. I'd rather we focused on other areas of the team tbh. We probably do need another striker but I'd rather we looked elsewhere.

i agree to an extent, however we do not know how those 3 will fair this season. Clarks not been at this level before, Smith was allowed to leave St Mirren after being their POS when they went up and Glass didnt show up that great when he came back last season. I am all for giving the 3 of them a chance and agree other areas are more in need but there is absolutely no doubt in m opinion that Stewart would be a considerable upgrade on all of them

If Clark is at anywhere near peak form he will do well at this level, he’s a good fit at this club, especially with shankland if properly paired together, ie with two wide players assisting, plus a spine of steel :-)

Perhaps, but I just feel dirty dealing with them, especially if it opens the door for them to come sniffing around after Shankland.

As it is, it appears they feel the same way so I guess we are free to look elsewhere and hopefully that should strengthen our resolve if they do come poking their noses around Sir Lawrence.

Ryan Edwards, CB from Blackpool rumoured to be some interest from us.

I know nothing about him. But good to see we are after a centre half.
