A good win and the table looks a lot better, but we are being carried by some brilliant individual performances so far. The worry is that in this game we played Tom Moores as a specialist batsman at number 5. Surely we must have better options.

Another game thrown away when the odds were heavily in our favour. We reduced them to 44/5 but instead of going for the kill, we allowed batsmen with averages of 27 and 22 to compile an unbroken match-winning partnership of 127.

They also were a batsman (don’t like batter) short out injured and unable to bat so only 4 wickets needed. A terrible bowling performance.

Really don't know why they are so bad. Is the club borassic lint or summat? And why can the ground staff not get a pitch that helps Notts? Everybody seems to love coming to TB.

A great day for Notts, reaching 234 for 3, and 100 for Hameed. Given how unimpressed many are with Moores, I should mention he had a good morning behind the stumps, including a fine leg side catch

A brilliant day, I hope we really go for it tomorrow. Just increase the lead quickly so we have enough time to bowl them out again, because the weather forecast is mixed and the New Road pitch is similar to Field Mill - a heavy shower means no play.
