The comparison between notts’ batting line up and county’s defence is an interesting one. Both capable of embarrassing capitulation
It's new guts rather than new blood we need. The talent is there, but the passion and desire isn't.
The weather may be the winner tomorrow, but the game is still open to all results. The problem is that if it boils down to whichever team wants it more, my money would have to go on Worcestershire.

Got away with a draw, the only positive is that we didn’t lose a wicket all day 🤷*♂️
Wow, credit where it's due. Today Notts were brilliant, just the sort of gutsy defiance that other teams usually do to us. When we slumped to 48-2 I thought another spineless collapse was likely, instead we got the polar opposite and ended the day on 418-2. The unbroken 370 run stand for the third wicket broke a record stretching back 121 years, Dave Bracegirdle must have been as excited as he was when the inbreds scored!
Great batting today from Notts. Well done lads. So this weekend we've had a win for Notts County, a win and promotion for Mansfield, a good comeback from Notts CCC and a defeat and a statement from Forest.
All well and good but we've got to put those runs on the board in the first innings which gives us batting points and puts pressure on the opposition.
At risk of jinxing them, look like the 1st win of the CC season is on.

Certainly does. Pity Hameed didn't get his 250. Some Going to carry the bat the whole innings
