I think this sums up 'Careless' because of Suellas 'careless' comments this week about the police this is whats happening.

Dont think there can be any argument with the language they are using that its heavily influenced by what she said, how Sunak can see the day out without sacking her im not sure, he has too seeing this surely.

This is now what the Tory party is about pandering to scum, seeking the lowest common denominator and people fall for it!

Sunak is ****ed, he had to ahve Braverman on board otherwise he wouldn't have got the votes to become leader, sack her and she will be worse (for him) from the back benches, but keep her in post and Labour should be able to capitalise on his weakness and her utter contempt for civilised politics.

Utter *******s and its funny how you denigrate the BBC then when it "falsely" parrots a Tory line, you claim it as a verifiable source.

Braverman doesn't have a point and its *******s more confected lies spewed out by the Tory party and its media stooges, of which the BBC is becoming one in many ways with its refusal to challenge the obvious lies and misinformation that this Government disseminates.

But even if she did have a point, its not the job of the Home Secretary or any Government minister for that matter to air such opinions in public, purely for the purposes of putting political pressure on the Police and encouraging people who haven't the cognitive ability to see what she is doing is wrong. These matters are dealt with behind the scenes in a professional manner, backed up by actual evidence and facts, not some anecdotal ramblings that are politically motivated.

We will all suffer the day, the Police cease to be independent law enforcement and become just another instrument used by the government to attack which ever section of the population they happen to disagree with at the time. Anybody who doesn't see that is sadly lacking in mental capacity IMO.

I fear you may be being over generous in describing Braverman’s comments as ‘careless’, Sith. I know you’re trying to stay on topic, but I think her comments may actually have been both very considered and conniving as part of an attempt to stir up tensions.
Thoroughly irresponsible and inappropriate behaviour on the part of the Home Secretary imo. Agree with you...she has to go.

Yes it was purely to keep on topic, I agree she should go.

The Tories have certainly been carless in their government of the UK over the past 13 years, how anybody vaguely sentient could vote for them is a mystery, unless of course your earning millions a year from their actions. They don't even deliver on the "so called "red meat" they throw out for their more intellectually challenged supporters.

Cruella sacked! Must be some sort of record. A Home Secretary sacked twice, by successive PM’s, in the space of 15 months. Careless indeed.

Gavin Williamson still holds the record for having been sacked by three different PM's though!!

Cameron gone into #10. BBC speculating he will get the Foreign Secretary's role, leaving Cleverly to take up the reins at the Home Office...

Can you do that role if not an MP?
