We were also a batsman (don't like batter either) short, we'd got golden boy Tom Moores playing.

A great day for Notts, reaching 234 for 3, and 100 for Hameed. Given how unimpressed many are with Moores, I should mention he had a good morning behind the stumps, including a fine leg side catch

A brilliant day, I hope we really go for it tomorrow. Just increase the lead quickly so we have enough time to bowl them out again, because the weather forecast is mixed and the New Road pitch is similar to Field Mill - a heavy shower means no play.

Okay. Great day for Notts. But (to state the obvious) its just one day in a long match.

Yet another pathetic and gutless display with the bat, Warwickshire defended a very modest target of 150 with ease. Tom Moores still hasn't managed to reach a double figure score this season, but his place seems secure.

I see Samit was MOM for Derbyshire today, taking 2 for 21 off 4 overs then scoring 64 off 32 balls with the bat. Our bunch of bottlers (apart from Luke Fletcher who bowled a great spell) should hang their heads in shame.

Played 2 Lost 2 in the T20 this season and last night's attendance was down on usual.

There really is no excuse, the money spent on this team and the fact that season after season players go backwards and rarely kick on all lies with the coaching team. They’ve been there long enough to have had a significant effect. Yet we struggle to produce players or improve those brought in.

Another shocker tonight in front of a much reduced crowd. We let Worcestershire off the hook at 58 for 6 and the less said about our batting the better. It's difficult to see us avoiding defeat against the mighty Derbyshire tomorrow on this showing.

We're just total crap aren't we, and also what has happened to the attendances, Trent Bridge is usually full/virtually full for T20 matches but this season it's been half empty, have they priced out the fans in favour of the Trent Rockets.
