Thank you my good man. Clear as mud as usual and your usual swipe at Labour but I was expecting that and it wouldn't be the Kerr we all know and love if you hadn't. Good point about alliances not thought of that.

My point was that MP,s and the media are being very selective in what they class as inflammatory words
The highest court in the land and the top eleven judges in the country also say he's a liar too .

Was that intended for me, sweetness?

Where was the swipe at Labour? I was saying what I think. Labour has carefully cultured a policy of not having a policy. That could be disastrous for them both because the country has become increasingly polarised and because if the other parties start buddying up in electoral alliances, they will have nobody to play with.

They certainly need one in an election. Can't imagine you would like it though. But thanks for getting down off that slope and rejoining us for a contribution. x

    So that's ok

I don't agree that a GE would not alter the landscape. It depends upon whether there is an agreement between parties to collaborate. The Greens, Lib Dems and Change (or whatever they are currently called) are likely to agree not to field candidates against each other. If the Tories agreed to leave northern Labour seats to the Brexit Party, I reckon your lot will be toast.
Tories and Boris in particular has said he won’t be doing a deal with Farage and will be putting candidates up for every Constituency. Dominic Cummings also has history with Farage. Mind you politicians do sometimes change their minds...’ if the cap fits etc.

    Raging dear heart ?
    Rolykins ?

Interesting from former PM John Major as of 40 minutes ago .

Johnson may use the privy council to bypass the legal requirement on him if he cannot or doesn't want to get a deal .

The Government can seek to bypass statute law by passing an order of council and suspend the Benn Act until after October 31st , the order can be passed by privy councillors which is to say Government Ministers and can be done without involving the queen .

Pretty unprecedented but then you wouldn't bet against him doing just that would you really ?

If there’s a way round it or a loophole they will use it.
As long as opposition can’t stick an amendment on an order to bypass statute law.

It has been brought to my attention that some posters find me a little abrasive. I have turned over a new leaf, petal.

I know that Boris has said that he won't do deals, but he doesn't have a strong track record on truth. In any event, circumstances changed slightly this week when Labour agreed to continue having a policy of not having a policy. That leaves them very vulnerable to being picked off by both a remain and a leave alliance.

Even if Boris won't agree to not field candidates the party could decide to simply fail to campaign in Labour leave constituencies where the Brexit Party is campaigning strongly.

Think the tories would be foolish to stand against the brexit party because their vote will be split. Hope they do tho cos neither will have a chance of doing much at the election.

I will tell ya one thing it will be the most interesting election ever with twists and turns all over the place. It will be a highly tactical affair both from the voters' and party's perspective. Unfortunately it will all amount to nowt tho and we will be back to square one...

Kerr: Can see that as a tactic, so maybe no Tories up round here. The prob for the tories and the Brexit party is if they have got the mood of the country for brexit wrong they will get decimated. I still think that leavers are over egging the support for leaving without a deal. Things have changed since the referendum and could change again. Fascinating stuff. I want the film rights!

Cos you are my new buddy mr kerr which parliamentary character do you want to play in my film? Let me guess, Bercow...?

It all points to a ‘ bloodbath’ for Labour Roly. They will have all on maintaining the seats they have let alone gain any.
It’s their own fault, they should come off the fence and decide to Remain, like most of them want to anyway.
Lib Dem’s should easily increase the seats they have and Brexit Party could do damage to Tory and especially Labour.
