I think Warwick are the cricket equivalent of Notts' bogey team. We always seem to be 5hit against them.

I was pleased to see that former Notts all-rounder Joey Evison had a good match. I was sorry he left.

Close of play sees Notts end up 33/2, Worcs 119/7. Lancashire look to have worked a winning position, so I think we have to avoid defeat to stay up. The weather for the next 3 days is mainly dry and bright, so it's time for a few Notts players to step up and show their worth. Can't say I'm particularly confident, when the pressure is on Notts usually bottle it.

Not good so far, but let's see how day two goes before calling panic stations.

    Going steady 177/3
No play yet Worcs who were 56/7 yesterday.
Swung in Notts favour so far today but, a lot can happen as we know.

1 bonus point gained for 250. 1 more and Lancs have to win to have any chance of overtaking Notts.

Think it's fairly safe to say we will stay up. No play today at Worcs. Notts currently 274/4

Should be okay now (but you never totally know).
Been a very disappointing summer though.
