Parp. Thought I had it on 2nd guess with first 3 letters turning green but was not to be. In hissy fit, a ****ted caddy with my bat. Thought I saw him sniggering but forgot about his palsy.

Disappointing 5. Hacked it down the fairway for 3 shots to end up in a greenside bunker. Had 2 possible shots out of there and picked wrong.

Found that hard going and slow. Green all the way - which meant I was striking the ball well - but the pin flag kept eluding me.

After a right royal feather feast on the par 5 5th yesterday with birds of all shapes and sizes it's a sea of red on the leaderboard on the short par 3 6th today with only Howdy walking off the green with a par that (along with his albatross yesterday) catapults him atop the leaderboard with raging.

Statistics for May 23-29
Easiest word was GLIDE on the 24th with a 3.61 average (3.22 on MM) and hardest word was BEVEL with a 4.57 average (4.38 on MM). It looks like everyone was honing their game in preparation for the start of the US Open.
