Norwich result was dissapointing though!
Solid performance and the poacher struck twice again, even without his partner in crime.
I remember Frogadyce claiming when he took over that his teams would never surrender a two-goal lead. We'd lost 3-2 after leading Wigan 2-0 at half time at the end of our relegation season.
We scoffed at that claim more than a little, but I must say now that I cannot remember ever seeing a West Ham team with this much solidity and discipline. It's not pretty to watch, but the toad man understands that you build a successful side from the back.
Splendid way to respond to our disappointment over wor Andy's red card appeal as well.
