Timing isn't as important with this deal. Thorne already knows our style of play, so he would fit right in, rather than a new player.

Seems to be some doubt about this deal now. Let's hope it still goes through!

rats for a guy with nearly twenty thousand posts and a moderator is it not time you showed other rams posters and supporters a bit of respect. you sit there high and mighty having a pop at us when you fail to even lift a finger at reds and wum who you know full well are here to cause trouble. the other mods like Chris & bloomer we respect as they add to the forum all you seem to do is snipe poke fun and belittle people who disagree with your views . we are all entitled to our views .
perhaps you should re think your views as to whether you should continue as a mod if you cannot add anything constructive to the site.

It was never going to be a quick deal with wba, they're notoriously hard to deal with.
We need to be a little more like that, although we do seem tougher now than we have in the past. Bryson is a good example.
Only because Bryson turned down Burnley to stay. If he had wanted to leave he would be playing for Burnley now.[/quote]

Not strictly true, Derby made him an offer that was attractive and handled the negotiations professionally, he considered his options and felt Derbys offer suited him for now.

But it is a measure of how far we have moved in the way we handle things, plus of course being narrowly beaten in the play off final, hav

I agree with you Southern. I met him some years ago & a nicer guy you couldn't wish to meet... However he has become bitter & twisted since Nigel left. Someone should tell him to move on, either to support the present administration or to support another team.

Anybody truly ITK, know what is happening with this Thorne deal?

According to SDSR on Sunday the deal was done and dusted, just awaiting the I's and T's to be sorted out.

Now a story in the Telegraph from their chairman says he wants him to stay and he will only leave for the right place.

It doesn't sound Done and Dusted to me?

Im not calling the information we received, far from it, but this transfer saga is seriously damaging my health and I cannot take it any more

My eyes are ******ed, my fingers are sore and im sick of checking tinternet every 5 minutes.

    I WANT MY LIFE BACK!!!!!!

I will also celebrate with a hooker and a kebab...so thats a hooker and 2 kebabs.
