It's pretty grim reading for every club in the football league, as nearly every club is losing money. If you're worried about the financial situation at SWFC, then you'll not sleep when you analyse the rest.

Given that the last three seasons the losses have been around this magnitude, then why would you be surprised?

The game is on its ass and the big golden Premiership carrot is dangling in front of all Championship clubs...with clubs making big losses and chairman offering to cover them.

If clubs can't cover their own costs through commercial revenue, tickets and sponsorship, then there is only one way football at this level is going.

The biggest financial burden on clubs is wages. Saw someone post on Owlstalk that 'only' 5k per week works out at £260,000 a season - not including bonuses.

    You're haemorrhaging £6 million a year and it's the FA's fault?

    You've lost the plot rov.

    Last year's loss was £3.9m.

The figure leaked to the press would be an increase of 53.84%. Do you now accept that the matters I raised in July have played a big part in this?

Struggling to find where I said that Might want to start reading my posts rather than trying to point score all the time.

GHO - I can't pretend to know why the losses have increased, you'll have to ask MM...or wait for the annual report (I'm sure you will).

But surely you must accept that the issues I raised in July have impacted upon them.

You've gotta laugh at double standards Katch.

The way he "likes" GHO's posts because he thinks he's a "sensible poster".

Yet on their board the most sensible poster of them all, Lendegoey, doesn't seem to have any "likes" from Katch.

Is it because Len always tells the truth about United but every post he makes gets slagged from a pig (pardon the pun) to a dog by the total nob sacks on there I wonder.

Oh, by the way, I see the latest ex pat to run off from the piggery is the famous hooligan singer

Suppose they could always blame it on their Chairman...Afterall, he started all this running out on em in the first place didn't he!

rov, you outlined the problems as you see them in terms of Wednesday's finances, and football finances in general, and then your parting shot was to challenge the FA to get it 'sorted' - suggesting that Wednesday's financial problems are down to them not 'sorting' it. Which is ludicrous.

What are your thoughts on the shirt sponsorship nonsense Mandaric has overseen this season? How much has that cost Wednesday? Shirt sponsorship is simple house keeping Mandaric has no excuse for getting wrong.

You're confused braggy (not for the first time), I've liked plenty of Uncle Leonard's posts over the past year or so, there isn't much I disagree with him re the Evans debacle.

Len's an opinionated poster who gets people's backs up, just like GHO. But Footymad is all the richer for their participation.

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure as they say. You have an ex Blade fullback most of you seem fond of who was shown the back door by United for not being up to standard.

I will say this about O’Grady though, if he can produce the form he showed for the majority of his time at Barnsley he’s not only better than the striking options at the Lane but he’s also a better striking option than anything you have. May, Madine, GTF, Nuhui – an in form O’Grady gets the #9 shirt over all of them in my opinion.

Massive dropped b0llock by Jones to let him leave.
