I thought 2 games was too soon to be on his case and some of the criticism suggested he could hardly pass his way out of a shop, but it's all about opinions and in another few games it may all reverse (hopefully not). He had what looked like a perfectly good goal disallowed as well.

What an impressive performance btw. At one point in the second half West Ham never got over the half way line and the attempts on goal was something like 16 - 3 to us ... and we were the away team.

I hold my hands up and admit I was totally wrong about Pelle. He has been on fire since half-time at Millwall. Long may it continue!

Goals breed confidence. It also helps that we are getting a lot more movement in and around him rather than leaving him isolated. If we play to his strengths, he should do well.

I know he got a goal, but can anyone who went to the game comment on his general play throughout the match?

I'm hoping it was an improvement on what we've seen to date.

For most of the game he was missing, hopefully he gets better or we might as well play without a striker.
Some people thought he done ok, I didn't but that's my opinion.
Ask Joffy, he had a better view from the posh seats.

Posh seats they may have been Souths but had to chuckle at the class less tool sat next to me who smoked throuought the entire game without giving a she-ite...

As for Pelle, jury still out on him, hell of a lump and ideal for holding the ball but his first touch needs work and as for movement, it would be nice to see some more. That said prepared to give him another half a dozen games before ruling him in or out.

Couldn't believe how little Wham offered yesterday as the home team , no real pressure and reason to be fearing a relegation scrap on that performance.

The final 20 mins saw probably the best passage of possesion from Saints in quote some time and it led to our 3rd goal, shame MOTD didnt show the build up play.

Whilst MS will get the plaudits, Tadic for me was my MOTM
