that tatty name all over the club

Sports Direct get an absolute shlt load of free/minumal cost advertising all over the stadium and club shop etc.

Does anyone know how much it woud cost normal paying sponsors to have the same exposure within a stadium?
This is obviously a perk for the fat man.

I've said many times before when the Pro Ashley's bang on about him absorbing the debt for no interest that a good commercial manager would get that interest covered and profit left over by marketing the sales rights with sponsorship, exposure and shop selling rights as well as the numerous spin offs we don't know about which he's bleeding club profits from.

Yes that's the whole idea of commercial sponsorship. To benefit the club and not the owner's tatty business.

Yeah but that's not really been the argument with many, has it?
The argument has been Ashley's tat making the stadium look horrible and what not.

Imagine what the Chinese stuff will look like, assuming they took over?

If I owned a club and a business then I would advertise my business rather than get £5 million from another firm.TV money dwarves advertising hoardings anyway.

NO,NO,NO, the argument is and always has been that he has taken the advertising space which could have been sold at the current rates to benefit the club.

I'm not interested in who or what you think I'm arguing like. I'm merely asking a few questions of posters to gauge their mindset.
