None of the potential candidates, with the exception of Stubbs - if he would take the job, fills me with confidence that they could get us back up to the premier league. Hughes and Jimmy Mac have both been sacked for failing to deliver and I don't see any signs they would do any different at Tannadice. As has been said earlier our beloved chairman will go for the cheap option and expect miracles on nominal or no budget to improve. Same sh*t different season. We're supporters and love our club so we'll keep going but God alone knows it's getting tougher to watch this keech every week.

Supposedly manager is to be in ahead of Dumbarton- does that mean today is the day?!?

I think it will be Hughes as cheapest option for ST. As said above we have just sacked the manager that got raith to play offs and replacing with the one that got them relegated!!

Not sure where Billy Reid idea is coming from - he hated united when he was at Hamilton. I’m not keen.

Of the realistic candidates that ST will go for as out of work I could handle McIntyre, Stubbs or Lennon.

Jack Ross would be great but compo no chance under ST now and doubt he would come to take over our mess

I think we are going for Billy Reid now chaps. Thoughts?

read this recently - he seems to be part of a decent managerial team in Sweden.

Having read that I doubt a free pass to Ikea and an Abba box set would tempt him back.
He's enjoying the time of his life.

John Hughes to be interviewed later today . Clear favourite for the job , McIntyre and Dodds likely to be second in line if Hughes fluffs the interview

One thing about Hughes, after his sensational flop at Raith he's be hellbent on restoring his reputation & might play the game of his life.

    Unfortunate but seen it coming.

I wonder what kind of questions ST asks someone at interview.

How little can I pay you might be one question ....
