Remember Erin Brokowitz (apologies if misspelt) & the odds stacked against her in her quest for what is right against a massive Corporation.. I had the privilege of attending a conference in Manchester at which she was the guest speaker. Ok the purpose of her stance was justice for those injured/diseased - much more important than the cause of the 400 or so.However the point is that the odds were very much stacked against her but look at the outcome.Onwards & upwards & power to the 400 I say !!!!
the 400 dont have an alternative
they are shouting into a black hole

if anyone believes there are things going on in the backround these people acant diiscuss they are fools

would you as an investor of say near 1 billion pounds sit and discuss anything with a group of unofficial supporters group
    nope

you wouldnt need to any one with half a brain can work out what the fans want
you wouldnt need to jeapordise your negotiations with ash

untill they have a viable alternative they wont get anything

which is why probabaly only a few trned up

400 (if that )look at the photos you wont count above 200 )people in a city of millions of passionate geordies

    pathetic really

I've noticed you're always more angry before you start a 12 hour shift

Think of the money and chill out

just having a van set up with washing machines and driers in it to take around the streets for the homeless

we are then having one set up with a mobile hairdresser, and donated clothes and this will also have such things as blankets sleeping bags and a microwave so we can do hot drinks and ready meals that we have been told will be donated by bakkavooor

    Is that in Peterborough?

    Assume it's a local one?

Not to nitpick, but since you're a historian I thought it was worth asking... weren't there like 6000+ other Greeks there in addition to the Spartans?

You wouldn't be diverting the theme of the post to big yourself up would you after recently posting accusing TerryMac of diverting a post. I'm sure you couldn't be so two faced. Or could you.

it is but through a friend im trying to get it in at colchester

when me dad passed away he left me a bit of money and i decided to do this
there are a few of them around if you look mostly the laundry vans they run of a generator .hotpoint in pboro donated the machines
we dont go out every day as there arent that many homeless around here that we are aware of and as we have only been doing it for a short while the lads are going further afield (boston kings lynn etc etc ).and as i have said we will either get one for a mobile hiadressing clothes /sleeping bag van ,or just use the ssame van but take the machines out and adapt it for the hairdressing and then change it back

for the hairdressing we have fabricated a "roof "that goes over the rear doors when opened and a frontage the hairdresser then sets his chair up but we are also going to look at one that has already been done to see how they pump water and do they have a sink etc so thats a slow boil

i when to see the one in brighton first and got the idea from there

only doing it for a few days as the lad s who do it have gone to a wedding abroad they are the driving force not me i just helped out
