And let the cliches begin... yawn
Shove yer tedious “pant pishers” predictable response.
It is right to be critical after the start we’ve made.

You happy with 5 goals in 7 games?

Think it’s you that needs to be knocking yourself out.

Been saying it all season, and I’ve still to be proved wrong.
There won’t be many games we score more then one goal.
Ffs Cosgrove & May will be lucky to get 10 between them.

Still think it was a good idea to get rid of Rooney?

I said I was fine with it... if he was replaced or we had a replacement lined up.
    We clearly didn’t.
We need a wide player, a striker & possibly a no”10”, but maybe Wright can do that when fit.

Our manager saw fit to get rid of Rooney, after playing him out of position, without having anyone that could come close to his scoring rate....never mind though its only pant pishing.

I don’t think he made it to the game. I never heard a single person shout oh Derek McInnes.

What I will say about the match today is that McInnes f@cked it up with his subs. Celtic were definitely there for the taking but especially the second half we sat off them too much for my liking. We definitely had the better of the chances in the first half but Del must have had a word in there ear at half time and told them to defend first. Stevie May wasn’t bad at all today with his link up play but didn’t look like he was going to score. Anderson was brought on far too late, McInnes needs to work on giving this lad more of a chance.

Thanks goes to Mason89 for getting me the ticket, a pleasure meeting you and the rest of your supporters club.

I like to think I'm fairly balanced in my views and realistic in my opinions...

Overall it's been a decent week for the club - 3 points against Motherwell, through to semis in League cup. We should probably have taken a point from the game today as well, but we didn't.

The issue isn't so much the result today - it's the squad of players we have and the style of football we're playing - it doesn't bode well for the season ahead. We will probably be relatively solid defensively and won't concede a huge amount, but we are on negative goal difference already and realistically the only attacking player we have to come back from injury is Scott Wright. Other than that, it's the guys who've been playing the last few games who're going to be playing every game until at least January. Of the 3 strikers, May and Cosgrove don't score, and Wilson although he looks like a player seems very injury prone. Of the creative midfielders, McGinn is looking old and unfit with the odd flash of magic, Wright is injury prone, Forrester it seems is not up to the standard and GMS can't carry the team on his own. The central midfielders have no goals or creativity between them - Shinnie, Ball, Gleeson, Ferguson, Hoban, Tansey, Campbell etc - some of them are fine all rounders but none of them carry much goal threat.

So in the 3 games this week we've conceded 1 goal. But we've also only scored 1 goal. It's going to be a long season if it's going to be like this all year. I like to think that's a fairly balanced, objective assessment of where we're at presently.
