Cup Final Ticket Queue

Sorted finally but with absolute crap seats. 29 attempts to get through and then waited 49 minutes in a queue. Section B2 right at the very back. Hey ho tough. I'll be there to see us lift the cup.

Did ask to be relocated to between B4 and B8 if supporters clubs don't take up a full allocation but was told little chance of that.

It's great the tickets have sold so fast and it confirms to me that the reason we couldn't sell our allocation in the semi was because of the October school holidays. I knew heaps of folk who couldn't go because they were away.

I just wonder if the SPFL would arrange a showpiece game during the Glasgow fair? (I know it's in July)

Aberdeen fans seem happier to go along to this than they were fir the semi final. Never seen so many empty seats!!. Did Celtic fans get to sit in their traditional end?

School holidays was maybe one factor , but it certainly wasn't the main reason , which was that the allocation was unrealistically high.

We've never taken anything like 20,000 to a semi at Hampden, live on TV.

Not sure about the numbers sold so far for the final however, Id put holidays some distance behind (And in order of) cheating, venue / day / ko time, and our rancid opponents for poor semi final sales.

That said, it would be fantastic (Hopeful even?) if we could put 20000 bums on seats within the space of a few days. It wouldn't sit easy with the weegia though, I'm sure they'll be able to spin it negatively if so....

The allocation number had no baring on poor ticket sales, sorry!

What it did do was highlight the disconnection between the club and it's support at times.

Had the board went to town (Called them out professionally and publicly) on the SPFL at the point of them being shown as favouring our opponents (Cheating) and lying, I'm sure we would have gone on to sell the initial allocation of 16,500. Then there after, who knows.....
