I had concerns with ST about our long term future the Martin does the sparkling job of keeping that clown on and potentially ruining our club (we had to get promoted is my understanding financially without further investment). Fair play martin did get some investment and then the sale.
What option do we have but to support the new owners just now? Ask questions aye of course but like any new owners the risks are pretty much what you and Frank have said.
I think he has been very open so far.

Yeah, as I've said before, the Ogren short term goals have got to be the same as ours so hopefully things improve soon.
I still don't think it's possible to build a championship winning team in one summer then January but I really hope I'm wrong and Robbie shows us all what a class act he is.
Maybe that was Eddies failing in a way. However, i understand his first club was not United, but grew to love us which eventually led to him buying out wee Jim. But his judgement maybe became a bit clouded by his love for the club where a few mistakes were made along the way. He did get things right eventually with CL/PH and the way the club was then set up. Sadly, or is that thankfully, he couldnt be here to watch that all being dismantled and eventually stripped to the bone!
Take that to the here and now and we have an unknown in place. Yes i am cautious about where we are heading, but on the face of it, the Ogrens seem to know how to do well in sport, but not necessarily make money and seem to have the same wish to get back in the big bed that we all surely share.
This Sporting Director bod though is probably where i have the most concerns, but i am happy to let him get in position before i take a stance on what he is like.
And there is this oft touted "Backing the manager comment" as i dont think any manager since PH has been properly backed as by my definition. However, watching the Aidan Nesbitt/RN interview from last night, Robbie was asked about being backed, then mentioned 1 in and nobody has left yet, which to me is backing the manager! Might seem a bit of a gamble, but get another 2 in then ship the unwanted out.
I don't really have any concerns about the new sporting director. It's a business management position so I think it's hard for fans to make a real judgement about it.
Here is hoping for a good win today anyway!
