Meaning? Pete has an opinion, so do I. They differ (shock horror, different people have different opinions). I don't see may giving any of this three a vote of confidence, just a "they might be ok sometime" sentiment.

You don't need to go far on this forum or others, to find opinions about Harrison, Baker and Brown that chime more with mine than Petes, but do they get questioned as to "why do you feel the need to carry on" after each woebegotten performance and their comments to that effect, I think not.

Honestly I don't really care. I'm more concerned as to why we keep bleeding resources that could have been put to better use. If we hadn't been paying for any of them, conservatively we would have around £2.5m more in the kitty, to bolster the 1st team. wouldn't pay for everything, but it might ease the pain if we do want to splash the cash, as it is, its paying for Browns birthday present or some such)

The point I was making was to do with you're not letting go in a single thread - not to do with your overall opinion on the three players concerned, but forget it -it was a light hearted observation - that's all

Personally don't have any beef with any player wearing the Leeds shirt

So McContract, Sharp, Taylor, Byram and some others, they were all worth their place, right up to when they shipped out?

The thread was/is about the game and the performances of those who were selected. Sure I threw Brown in as he seems to fit the bill of the third of the three stooges who are bleeding Leeds money and delivering not very much. You're not bothered that the rest if the side have to carry players who are paid a kings ransom and can't deliver?

Anyway, if Phil Hay is right, Baker will be on his way to some other "lucky" club where he can bleed them dry.

Brown's deal is pay as you play, so if he's not playing we are not paying anything for him, dunno bout others but would think at most we pay a % of their wages

Well that's a shame as at present it seems he is the only 1 if the three to be departing.

As for % of wages, whatever it is is too much.

Yep, Meant what I said, Wood McCormack, Taylor etc where all good players when playing for us - they had ambition to progress - that's all - done the same myself in my time - leaving jobs for better opportunities? can't see anything wrong with it.

As for the current loanees - wasn't it Marcello sanctioned bringing them in?

    Can't have it all ways.
