Wonder where the EFL go or plan what to do if the takeover doesn't go ahead? Would they bounce Bolton down to league 2 where they should start from again, providing they get someone to take them over, or is that too harsh?
Efl are paying players wages there’s no way they would send them down further

Il bet you anything that Bolton are using players wages to build up funds for transfer window.

Seriously fair play gone out of window
Are you sure the EFL are paying the Bolton players ?
As I understand it the PFA have made another loan to pay part of their wages for March.
PFA have done so to allow the Forest game to go ahead on Sunday.
Brentford game is still to be rearranged.
Bassini has 48hrs to prove to the EFL he has the cash to take over Bolton.

Every EFL club gets a payment every month including the Millers.
The payment from the EFL 2 weeks ago to Bolton was April’s payment brought forward 2 weeks to allow Bolton to pay ground staff and safety staff to allow a game to go ahead, it wasn’t for wages.
This is the third time the Players Union has loaned cash to pay players wages this season.
EFL HAVE NOT paid players wages, they’ve sat on their @rse and let this ridiculous situation happen.

The problem is not just wages .Or millions debt .
It is the £80,000. A week running costs .doesn't seem much . But quarter million a month on top of all ****.

True....EFL must have known Bolton were having cash flow problems when the Players Union loaned cash to pay players back in November/ December.

No doubt they'll be back up and running next season with a huge budget for L1, learning nothing from the past and safe in the knowledge that the EFL will clean up after them when the sh@t hits the fan again.

Once it's all sorted Bolton will face a one or two window transfer embargo and that's about it as far as punishment will go.
Forest game will go ahead, players have ended their 48hr strike thanks to the PFA.

If Bassini doesn't buy the club, which is far from being definite, then admin awaits, and we all know what can happen there.
