"Strong stuff Sinkov. did you have a bad pint last night?"

I'm not sure what your definition of strong is 59.

"The more I see of this virtue-signalling, Leftie FAKE NEWS, lies and drivel BT, promulgated by useful idiots in the west, the more I feel for the Israelis and the poor buggers in Gaza who have to live with the consequences. Instead of this infantile propaganda, why not try working towards a peaceful resolution to this problem, instead of condemning the Palestinians and their children to a future of permanent conflict with Israel, a battle they will never win, and can only impoverish them further ?"

A plea for an attempt to find a peaceful solution, instead of activists fighting a propaganda war in the media, and Hamas attempting to fight a real one with Israel. I don't think there is anything 'strong' or contentious there, and you will note that, despite my request, BT cannot provide verification for his photos.

"Is it anti-semitism disguised as anti-zionism that inspires this unswerving support for Hamas and it's methods, an organisation dedicated to the destruction of the Israeli state and the eradication of all Jews from the face of the earth, or is there another reason ?

Is it contentious to ask this question of Labour Party members, when the Labour Party has had a long-running and widely publicised 'Jewish problem', has just suspended a NEC member for anti-Semitism, and is now being investigated by the EHRC for anti-semitism ?

What exactly do you object to in that post 59 ?

Alas, this is another of those issues that seems to split people into two camps. You either support Israel or support Palestine. Very little middle ground.
Which (like Brexit) creates a lot of heat but very little light.

You are very pro Israeli here. Yes, I have seen post number 9 on this thread.

You are saying that Palestine should recognise the state of Israel but I have never seen you suggesting that Israel (or the UK and USA) recognises the state of Palestine.
For dialogue to start then surely BOTH are required?

If this doesn't happen then the inevitable result will be the status quo.
Constant David v Goliath incidents and a further taking of Palestinian land until there is no longer any Palestinian territory left.

All the surviving Palestinians will then have to seek refugee status wherever they can.

And, as far as I can see, this seems to be the master plan of Israel and the USA.

And once again you are rubbishing the British media for reporting stuff that is at odds with how you see things.

So I repeat my question. Where do you get your information from that you trust and respect, and that helps to shape your opinions?

And before you ask - NO - I am certainly not an anti-semite - but I will certainly not be quiet when I see injustices anywhere. I have noticed a trend that "anti-semite" is used against any criticism of the actions of Israel and this is plain wrong.

Or is it OK to call critics of Palestine "anti-muslim"?
    Let's be even handed, eh?

    .

over the millenia -the place has been conqured re-conquered and colonized many times by many races....and is sadly still happening today - mainly because theres a minority (on both sides) that promote hatred, extend needless suffering and are willing to march it to a destructive and bloody end without a gracious dream of a balanced Peace.....which in my book, (and I dont care what cover they hide behind btw) - places them on the chapter named "sick twisted repugnant twots" .

.......Is about time sensible took the reigns....allowed for the realisation that the Semitic Palestinans and Jews are each no more or less indigenous than the other - regadless of what some pages of an old relic may say.

All you need to do sinkov is google "Photos of Israeli Occupation Checkpoints" and up they pop. Despite your protestations they can't all be FAKE NEWS or photoshopped, can they?

I wonder how much money a year Israel spends on barbed wire?

REPORT: MOSSAD GAVE KEY INTEL LINKING IRAN TO OIL TANKER ATTACKS NEAR UAE

    https://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Re...ear-UAE-591577

The Mossad was responsible for the key intelligence linking Iran to the attack on four oil tankers near the United Arab Emirates coast last month, prompting the United States to accuse Tehran of carrying out the attack, according to a report by KAN late Monday.

According to the report, an Israeli official complimented the Iranians on a “high level commando operation” which intentionally only sabotaged the tankers, but did not lead to any injuries which might have escalated tensions further.

The US is expected to present both the Mossad intelligence and some additional intelligence before a UN body in the near future, possibly before the UN Security Council.

Last month, US officials accused, with differing degrees of certainty, Iran and its proxies of carrying out the tanker attacks, of a coordinated drone attack on Saudi Arabia by the Iranian-allied Houthi rebels of Yemen, and of a rocket attack in Iraq which landed near a US installation.

The Mossad and the US have been more aggressive about taking public credit for thwarting attacks by adversaries as well as operations in the last couple years.

Last month, Channel 13 reported that the Mossad had tipped off the US about a likely imminent attack by Iran on US personnel in the region and in recent years, Israel has repeatedly taken credit for uncovering plots by ISIS to hijack civilian airlines across the world.
