We didn't get promoted playing one left back, got slightly closer when we played two left backs in the 11. Maybe the answer is to play with three?

Ken it's not us but heard on the radio there that the FUN have signed Declan Mcdade. Missed a trick there imo. Good player.

Don't agree, by all accounts only turned up a couple times against us, we were a shambles the night he played well at Tannadice, looked average any other time and that is what the Ayr fans to a man say, confident Liam Smith his teammate from the season just finished would keep him quiet

Was going to post similar. Could be a decent signing for them if he can add consistency to his game. Maybe an increase in wages but not really a step up is it. On the other hand you can only go by what the home fans say and that's he never turned up except in televised games.

Unless Ayr have a plan B they're not going to be challenging next season.

If he signed for us I think an affy lot of folk on here would be delighted but he's signed for them across the road so obviously he's ****e. Lol.

Not really because if he'd signed for us I'd have posted the same comments

Only saw him in the televised games v us so not representative of his whole season but in those games i thought he looked an excellent player in a well coached Ayr side. Some Ayr fans didn't rate him very highly across the entire season though so I think you have to go on that opinion not just how good he was v us surely?

On really seen him v us too but what I'd seen of him I thought he was direct, pacy and whipped some great balls in.

You don't really think he only had 4 good games last season though surely?

I'd have loved him to sign for us Stokey but hopefully Robbie has better up his sleeve then.

Thought there was already a negative reaction to McDade on here when his name was mentioned a couple o weeks ago.

Solid championship signing, I’m hopeful of us signing premiership quality players though.
