Must say that this is one of those 'kick in the b0ll0cks' transfers..the fee and club he is joining..just all feels so f*cking wrong to me
I know no one likes to talk about man utd on here but Alex Ferguson got shot of Japp stam and a certain Mr Beckham when they thought they were bigger than the club, and it didn't harm the club, incidentally I don't know what's gone on and can't see where janssen has been that outspoken or disruptive, it would be nice to know the truth, I doubt we ever will, I personally think it's a big error and I'm almost as gutted as when Snodgrass and howson left, he's a big player to replace, and for 5.5 million it's an awful deal. Brentford must be laughing, also if they keep maupay and their other players they will be dark horses in the championship.

This is for WTF as we all know how he loves stats !!!!
Last season (Championship):
Jansson in XI:
37 Games, 18W, 6D, 13L.
1.62 points per game, 48.64% win ratio. 29% clean sheets, 1.21 goals conceded per game
Without:
11 Games, 8W, 2D, 1L.
2.55ppg, 72% win ratio, 54% clean sheets, 0.81 goals conceded per game
Surprising ??
Well it surprised me
Bielsa’s team kept a clean sheet in six of the 11 games that Jansson didn’t start, conceding nine in total. Without Jansson that’s a win percentage of 72%, a clean sheet record of 54% and 0.81 goals conceded per game.
There’s a stark contrast to the games in which Jansson did start. With the Sweden international in the starting line-up, United actually won fewer than half of the games last season. He started 37 Championship games, of which Leeds won 18, lost 13 and drew six.
That’s a win percentage of 48%, and just 1.62 points per game. Extrapolated over the course of a season, that’s an average usually good enough to secure sixth place, but a long way off what’s needed for the automatic promotion positions.
Leeds kept just 11 clean sheets from 37 games that Jansson started, averaging 29%, whilst conceding 45 goals, an average of 1.21 per game.
It’s worth taking such stats with a pinch of salt, especially given the relatively small sample size of games without the defender, and the fact it strips the games of context.
Three of the games without him, for example, were against opposition that would go on to be relegated - Rotherham home and away and Ipswich at home. Although they weren't all easier fixtures; it also includes three games (and two wins) against Derby, as well as play-off chasers Middlesbrough and Bristol City.
The statistics I used to rubbish your assertion that Casilla was "1000% better than BPF" targeted what one player in one position did, and the comparisons are just about valid.
Your use if statistics to suggest that games have been won or lost due to one outfield player being present or not is a prime example if the "lies, damned lies & statistics" and warrants no further response.
Pontus' brother is saying this is solely Bielsa's decision. They found out 3 weeks ago that Pontus is not part of his plans. No meetings, no discussions between the two. He believes the club tried to convice Bielsa to change his mind but he said "if he is here he needs to get to decide".
Yep just read the same thing on twitter cress.
THAT Villa goal and sulking after the Derby debacle also seems to have helped sealed his fate.
Does not excuse the p1ss poor fee we are getting for him..okay its not in the same mould of selling contana to scum but today B'mouth have agreed to sell Tyrone Mings for £20m to Villa rising to £26m..and we have agreed a fee of £5.5m with Brentford..madness!!!
The worst business we have done in a long time..and may well come and back and bite us on the ass!
