I am more of the opinion that The Millers have received offers for him from 2 clubs but have not yet accepted any offers.

From a WBA fan; if we are to fetch him in to use in midfield then he’ll be for cover.

Maybe that’s why they don’t want to spend too much on him.

Still if we can’t get 2.5 mills for Ajayi then we’re definitely doing something wrong

According to sky,s website he's having a medical down there this morning and wba are hoping he will be available for a friendly tomorrow.

Irony is that he might play against us in a week or so

Now I'm seeing all over twitter from various sources and news outlets that £1.5m has been agreed and Semi is on his way to the Midlands for his medical. Again, if the fee is correct, this is piss poor from our perspective. If we're not desperate to sell and the player is not desperate to leave, which has been stated several times in the media, then wait for a better ****ing offer ffs! If that's as high as WBA are willing to go, tell them it's their loss, and wait for a serious offer.
Things were going so well but the old RUFC mentality seems to have crept back in. They'll dress it up saying its an 'initial £1.5m'.
Straight from the Ken Booth book of how to do transfers in the modern era 😠😠

I take it as read to be in contention you'd agree it generally pans out that you recruit the best available within brand and budget .

As an outsider looking in so to speak I'm very interested to see how your club goes about it with a few bob .

A few bob in league one terms much like ourselves .
it's about the fee we get for him we all knew him and vaulks would go or get bids for them.

the point im making is semi is worth more than £1.5 million but with only 12 months left has screwed us over to get his real worth.

we can only go on Paul warnes last recruitment which is when he wants a proper first teamer he mostly gets it right than wrong (bray etc was always based on potential a few years down the line) and unless they are allready established in the first team don't work out more often than they do.

question is do they spend to look to have a team in the championship or spend to get us competitive in league one and be like last season see how we go.
