Its just 7 games of an interrupted season, we've seen some brilliant football and some absolute tosh admittedly but just 7 games.

Barrow had 7 points from their first 7 games last season, where did they finish again?
Then what did Barrow do, lost once in about 20 matches, having absolute emphatic form, do you think Notts are capabale of that over the next 20 matches ??

How do you know Neil Ardley cant motivate a team? Be specific.
Simple, look at what he has done to date, specifiaclly in that we have a poor defense, negative tactics, and keep losing to poor teams in the bottom half, all signs of great motivation huh ?

    Yes you are wrong
They said at the time several were asymptomatic etc and showed no signs of the virus..!
If the others were riddled with covid they wouldn't need a test to tell them they were infected.
They would have been in hospital seeking medical attention..
So this excuse about covid doesn't rest easily with me.
Especially when 10 days later they are fit to play..
The games were cancelled because of the threat of spreading the virus, not because the players weren't fit to play.
But don't Waste the chance of a good excuse hey MM..
Now lets see how that grass is today, its looking a bit lush I sence a defeat.
Throw in the fact that they have got a care taker manager and they were going to run through brick walls for him , we didnt stand a chance , it was always going to be a tough one..
I'm sure we will hear words like these echoed by a certain Ardley later today.
And I'm sure Hot lips and his girls will be proclaiming that although Chesterfield are bottom 3 they are in a false position.
Barrow and Harrogate had a poor start last season and look at yeovil ..!
    Much love xxxx

I know you can't , you've well and truly overtaken No Nuts and a few others as my very own NCM No1 stalker. Trust me that's quite the achievement cos you have some stiff competition on that front. That's fine by me as long as you don't try to groom me in anyway shape or form lol

When you grow old? I fear by comparison to myself that ship has already well and truly sailed old boy. Still it's always nice to have a drwamy.

I can officially announce that the once infamous and always needless Spelling and Grammar Police are no more. With posts such as the above they've simply given up the ghost and tbh who can blame them. R.I.P.

Clearly Pedro played truant a fair bit back in his Grammar school days.

    Yes xxxx
I feel it's very unfair that you hold such high standards to me and my grammar.
But choose to have very low standards regards football management.
My Ardley excuse is that I'm using my phone to write these posts.

Tbh you've been getting away with murder for a long time now but you clearly have friends in high places#soundofthepolice.

Maybe it's all the trash managers we've had before him, that's gonna chip away at anyone's standards when it comes to Notts managers surely

Sorry to break your heart old man but age matters.

P.S. Who are my girls? New one on me.

Playing at home is not an advantage any more you only have to look at results and the tables.
Arsenal, Man City and United in the bottom half, Saints next to the top, Liverpool losing half their key men to injury.
Mind you it makes games more interesting. Just hope it is just a blip Notts have had and can get back to winning ways this afternoon.
    I will be watching it.
This is true, even though some are saying Covid should not be taken into account.

Apparently in the Premier this season there has been 32 away wins and 28 home wins. Never happened before that there have been more away wins. Surely no coincidence that there are no speactators.

Absolutely no recognition of the other effects on addition to physical.
Who said they needed a test to tell them they had it? A test confirms it.
You ignore any sensible points that anyone makes.

Note I have said that Covid is not an excuse, in itself, but cannot be totally discounted as you obviously think it can.

There might be a bit of an explanation for that. I wonder if there are any stats on refereeing decisions such as fouls and penalties awarded to home and away teams compared to previous seasons when fans were in attendance?
