What's even more annoying is to be criticised for being positive and optimistic by my fellow fans. FFS.

For what it's worth, I admire your positivity Swale, you're a good un. I wish I could share it, but from what I am seeing from the stream, there are serious systematic problems with the team that Ardley needs to sort. Our season's outcome depends on whether he is able to do so.

It's not just about today as an isolated match. Even if we manage to win today, this first half performance is simply not good enough. Same issues match after match and no improvement

People are negative as you can write the script every game. I am still optimistic and willing the team on, even though I don't think a few should be playing, and will do until the end of the game, but I can feel negative about the way we are playing and post as such, but still hold out hope for a positive result.

I don't admire it. The man's delusion is scary.

Still got a half left to win this yet.

I am a critic of Ardley and have zero faith in him but with the players we have they might grab us a win we really need.

My concern is ALWAYS the same thing lack of energy and either Wolfe is rubbish or wasn’t scouted properly.

I see Osbourne has bagged 4 goals in the last 1.5 games too one I’m keeping an eye on not saying he’d get in our team but he will play at NL level at least soon.

That's the spirit. It's just that some people sound as if they actually want us to lose sometimes, even during the game.

Just my view but he seems to look for the foul too often rather than winning the ball - near the end of the half he made a physical challenge and won the ball easy - needs to do that more.

First half analysis is that I thought we were fine for the first twenty minutes and could have been 2-0 up. We created a few chances including hitting the post and got a goal.

After we scored though we slowed down and went into protective mode as Chesterfield then pushed forward because they were behind and then they came into it more and got their rewards.

That's where it followed a similar pattern to other away games in that we did not continue in the same vein as we did after we scored as we did nothing and had no further attacking threat or chances for the second part of the first half.

In the second half we are going to have to come out like we did in the first twenty minutes and look like we want to win the game.
