That's a decent point today, bit frustrating as with bit better quality game was there to win at end, thought we were quite comfortable second half. Aberdeen an uninspiring team.

Happy with that. Thought we were fairly solid and probably had the better chances in the end. Certainly improved as the game went on, just lacked that bit of quality from middle to front. Robson was very wasteful in certain moves after doing a lot of good work initially. Appere came more into the game as it went on. Shanks so unlucky not to get at least one goal.

Decent results for us elsewhere also.

All in all a good point. We got exactly what we set up to get but probably had the better chances in the game. Dire stuff to watch though. Another plus was Connolly this afternoon. Thought he was excellent. Hopefully a more attacking formation next week.

Away point is al that can be taken from this. Aberdeen were there to be beaten. Midfield was set up to try to defend and the longer he plays Clark in midfield the more his value will drop.... he is not a midfielder, he is a goal sniffer/goal hanger or whatever name you have for the opportunist in the box. But thats a position of luxury we don't have just now.

Pawlett surely must have played his last.

Harkes next to Powers was best pairing recently.

We needed McMullan or ANYBODY who has the confidence to run direct. The way its set up so rigid means its easy for defences to have 2 or 3 players on Shankland and his partner. The midfield offers no option to break that up.

Happy with a draw but having watched it they were there to be beaten.

Need to say, Connelly was excellent.
    Agree with all that.

Powers did the simple stuff. Harkes was decent when he wasn't tasked with being the main anchorman once Powers came on. Connolly was very good. A mention also for Neilson coming in at short notice. Nothing really got down that left side so credit to him & Smith.

Considering our injury list, this was always going to be a tough ask, a point is a good result, well done all players, i didn't really expect anything from this away game, next run of fixtures should give us a good chance to consolidate our position.

Yes. Point at Pittodrie is good. Credit to MM that he does achieve results

Another point closer to safety and possible top 6

With Livi result and their current run they look destined for top 6 again. Up to us to be there with them

    Clark & value? I'm assuming that's sarcasm?

Away point, a very solid performance and another never say die attitude is what I will take from it. We battled right to the end and could've won it had there been a bit more composure.
