Really enjoyed our performance against Fulham, it was a pleasure to see our team scoring goals.
Well our second stringers are clearly better than their second string. I just hope our first team can prevail over theirs when we meet in the League.
The last 8(7), you only have to beat 3 of them![]()
Let’s see if we can get through Round 5 and then check what the QF draw is.
This will be an interesting clash between Bournemouth and Crawley. Former Burnley assistant Jason Tindall will be in charge of the Cherries who currently lie in the Championship play off places. Crawley Town are mid table in League 2 but have games in hand on the clubs above them and could well push up into the play off places themselves. They are also above former PL clubs Oldham, Bolton and Bradford City. They have reached Round 5 of the FA Cup in the past and will certainly fancy their chances of doing so again. Bring it on and let’s see who will be rocking up at the Turf with a QF place at stake.
Another bit of spice added to tonight's game is the fact that Crawley boss, John Yems, was football operations manager at Bournemouth for 6 and a half years before being dismissed without warning in 2018, after being told by Eddie Howe on a journey back from Burnley, where they had just beaten us 2-1, that he was fighting to keep him in place. Two days later he was told by the club that they couldn't afford to keep him and he was made redundant. Needless to say, he was not a happy man and tonight will be the first time that he has been back at the ground since he left.
"we are two games away from a Wembley Cup Final if we can see off tonight's winners"
Takes me back 12 years, almost to the day, that BT. There were a lot of piss-taking Spurs fans talking about a faulty batch of Satnavs reported in the Burnley area, and they'd convinced numpty Burnley fans they were two minutes away from Wembley.
And I surely don't have to remind you of the Spartans one word reply to the message from Philip of Macedon, describing what he would do, if he conquered Laconia ?
